Linpac to showcase multi-material pack solutions at CFIA 2017

PKBR Staff Writer Published 14 February 2017

France-based food packaging manufacturer Linpac is planning to showcase its multi-material pack solutions for food manufacturers and packers at the Carrefour des Fournisseurs de l'Industrie Agroalimentaire (CFIA) 2017 event.

At the event, which is scheduled to be held from 7-9 March in Rennes, France, the firm intends to demonstrate its tray and film capabilities which offer complete pack solutions from a single supplier to suit a wide range of applications.

Linpac will showcase its portfolio of EPS, PP and rPET tray solutions and complementary stretch or high barrier films, including the Rfresh Elite and Evolve tray ranges.

LINPAC group marketing manager Nikki Clark said: “Visitors to LINPAC at CFIA 2017 will be able to learn more about the many benefits of LINPAC modified atmosphere and vacuum skin packs, including anti-fog, clarity and light weighting advancements.

“And importantly, witness how this translates to the showcasing, preservation and protection of meat, poultry and fish products in the retail environment to increase shelf life and ultimately help to reduce food waste across the supply chain.”

Linpac will also demonstrate its three new advanced LINtop lidding film solutions at the event.

Earlier this year, Linpac and Norway’s Leroy Seafood Group have introduced a range of resource-efficient packs for Spanish retailer Mercadona.

Designed to pack ready-to-eat maki, nigiri, sashimi and Japanese salads, the range comprises single and double portion and family sized packs.
